Lead magnet revamped in three seconds
Here’s a confession I probably shouldn’t be making publicly: I just completely overhauled one of my best-performing lead magnets, and my actual contribution was writing one instruction. That’s it.
The AI did the rest. In about three seconds.
Now before you roll your eyes – stick with me, because this isn’t about how “amazing AI is” (you already know, that’s why you’re here). This is about something more specific: what it looks like when your AI tools are set up well enough that pivoting takes seconds instead of weeks.
The lead magnet that needed a makeover
My AI Starter Pack has been doing its thing for a while. It was originally built around ChatGPT – which made complete sense at the time, because ChatGPT was the dominant tool everyone was asking about.
But the game has shifted. My whole workflow has shifted. I spend far more of my time in Claude now, my clients are asking different questions, and my starter pack had stopped reflecting what I actually do in my business. It had become a bit of a relic.
The problem with outdated lead magnets isn’t just that they look a bit behind. It’s that they’re not converting the right people. If someone downloads a resource that doesn’t reflect your current thinking, they’re meeting a version of you that no longer exists – and that mismatch shows up later, in confused sales conversations and “I didn’t realise you did that” DMs.
What I actually did
I opened Claude Cowork, gave it a single instruction to update my Notion board to reflect what I actually use in my business, and watched it work.
Three seconds later, the board was updated. The resource now covers what I genuinely use, teach, and recommend — not what I used to.
Here’s what’s in the updated (free) AI Starter Pack:
- AI prompting hacks
- How to build a Custom GPT
- How to build a Claude Project
- Getting started with Claude
- ChatGPT vs Claude – which to use and when
- My full tech stack
That’s not a light refresh. That’s a meaningful content update… done in the time it takes to read this sentence.
Why this matters more than “saving time”
Look, I know the “AI saves time” narrative has been done to death. But this is a slightly different point.
The reason this worked in three seconds isn’t because Claude is magic. It’s because the infrastructure was already there – a Notion board properly set up, a Claude Cowork environment that knew the context of my business, and a clear brief.
This is what people miss when they’re dabbling with AI. They use it like a fancy Google search, ask it one thing, get one answer, and wonder why it’s not life-changing. The real shift happens when your AI is embedded in how your business actually runs — so that adapting to something new, updating a resource, or pivoting content takes almost no effort.
This is what I mean when I say AI is a system, not a shortcut.
The advantage nobody’s talking about
Being able to adapt quickly isn’t just a productivity win. It’s a competitive one.
Trends in AI are moving faster than any of us can keep up with manually. The tools that are relevant today might be replaced or repositioned by next quarter. If your content, your resources, and your positioning are locked into something from six months ago — and you don’t have the systems to update them quickly — you’ll always be behind.
The businesses winning right now aren’t just the ones using AI. They’re the ones using it in a way that makes their whole operation more responsive.
The honest part
Should I be “admitting” this? Probably, yes.
Because one of the things I think gets lost in the AI conversation is the myth that using AI to do things well somehow makes the outcome less valuable. My starter pack is better now than it was before. The content is more accurate, more relevant, and more useful for the people downloading it.
The fact that it took me three seconds to update? That’s the point. That’s what having the right setup looks like.
